If babies eyes are still blue at 18 months, are they likely to stay blue?

I have brown eyes and Dh has blue and our other 2 children have brown eyes, one had very brown eyes from birth and one changed early on from blue to hazel to brown.
Youngest is 18 months and still has his bright blue eyes like his Dad is he likely to keep them now or are they still likely to change?

My DD and DS had blue eyes until 2. DS's are now Hazel. DDs are mainly green but can look brown sometimes.

Both my sons had blue eyes initially. Ds1’s had gone grey by the time he was 4 months or so and they haven’t really changed since (he’s 17 now). Ds2 kept his blue eyes for longer, but they have slowly become a more muted blue/green over time. Dd’s are hazel and went through a lot of stages to get to where they are now, but they were never really blue, or not for long anyway - they were almost black when she was a baby.

Not necessarily. My DS had lovely blue eyes as a baby and until he was about 4/5 and then they slowly went grey - as an adult, he has grey eyes. His son has brown eyes but his daughter has blue eyes - she’s now four and no sign of them changing.

My son’s eyes changed from blue to green at 2 and a half.

I had bright blue eyes until about age 11 then they turned green over a matter of only a few months.

I had blue/grey eyes when I was very little, they gradually changed to green

I think it's likelier than not they're going to stay the same colour. Maybe darken a bit over the years.

Both DH and I have brown eyes, as do the vast majority of our relatives. Our DD has brown eyes that changed from blue at ~6 months. DS on the other hand has grey eyes that have only darkened slightly from the blue he was born with. They're almost identical to my mother's, the only other person in both families with grey eyes. Genetics are wonderful.

Yes, though my DD’s originally blue eyes gradually changed to green when she was between 6-9 yo! My mother has green eyes though and DH’s are hazel, so it runs in the family.
