When do you start dressing your 1 year old in long sleeve T-shirts?

I know the obvious answer is when it’s warm enough but after a sudden growth spurt he’s out grown most of his joggers and sweaters so I’m going to buy some new things for him for the next few months.
Is it worth buying lots more jumpers or is he likely to be in long sleeve T-shirts in a month? I will buy a bit of both but not sure what to buy most of.
Maybe zip up hoodies instead of sweaters for march to layer with a long T-shirt?
What are you buying?

Tshirts and zip up hoodies might be best

I used to like long sleeve vests (the ones with crotch poppers) as you can put t-shirts over

Do you generally stop wearing jumpers for the year in March??
Jumpers and long sleeves are weather appropriate for about 90% of the year.

Yeah, a long sleeve vest and a t-shirt over is a good spring weight, and goes on in one.

For my son, I favoured age 2-3 long sleeve t-shirts in summer with longer shorts - kept the sun off him without him getting too warm.

Now the clothes sizes are in bigger brackets, you can skip ahead sizes.
