Question for hairdressers.

I've recently moved, & need a new hairdresser.
I soon won't need one because I'm tearing my hair out in frustration.

I asked on the local FB page, & got >10 recommendations. I also did a search for people near me. I prefer either a mobile HD or a home salon, not a multi-chair salon.
I've contacted most of them, & am underwhelmed with the responses - those few that I have received !

I've e-mailed, & some have actually said they don't look at their e-mail very often, & have given various reasons why they can't take on new clients. Fair enough, but why
a) list your e-mail if you don't look at it ?
b) advertise if you don't need any more clients/money ?

I've sent texts that have not been answered.
Mobile signal is terrible where I live, so I don't call as the chances are they won't get through if they call back (unlikely though that seems).

If you're a HD, what's the best way to contact you?

When I move anywhere new I spend the best part of a year picking my next hairdresser. It's important! I walk in or phone to get appointments and try them all out. I need a balance of good cutting, decent colour skills and minimal chit chat.
