Love mine! Some people take time to get used to them but the only time I’ve really had problems was when the prescription wasn’t quite right.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 15/02/2026 20:59

Love mine too.

I’d heard how hard they were to adjust to right from the minute I put mine on they were perfect! No issues whatsoever.

Pernicketywishes · 15/02/2026 21:00

I absolutely love mine.

Snap!

I’ve been wearing them 8 years. The only problems I’ve ever had is going down spiral staircases in old castles!

£120 for 2 pairs from Asda too.

RandomMess · 15/02/2026 21:14

I have to travel to the Asda to a city I loathe driving to, still worth it 😂

Get my eye test done locally via VDU voucher for work.

ASDA has a decent selection of petite frames unlike a lot of places.

Are any of you on standard varfocals ? As I'm new next week.

Yes I believe they are just standard ones.

Muchtoomuchtodo · 16/02/2026 10:44

I think my Asda ones are standard but they have the anti glare coating on which is included in the basic price.

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 16/02/2026 11:06

I have my varifocal lenses upgraded to thinner/lighter at Asda as part of the price.

Egglio · 16/02/2026 11:14

I have standard varifocals from M&S opticians and I have had no problem whatsoever, no adjustment period, I can just see!

Rockstick · 16/02/2026 11:31

I'd also heard stories of people finding them difficult to get on with, but found them like magic from the first wear.

I've got basic ones and more expensive ones. The dearer ones are definitely better, but the cheap ones do the job.
