If you don't live with your partner/BF but spend a lot of time together...

What do you do in the evenings?

This weekend we went out with friends on Friday evening and he stayed over did parkrun Saturday, had breakfast together, then we each went home for a while, and he cooked. "Valentine's dinner". All lovely. This morning we ran with friends and he went off to have lunch with his parents. All good.

He's coming back here later and we'll watch TV. Which is where I'm struggling. He loves TV, often sends me excited messages about some new series we can watch. And TBF he'll have considered if it's something I'll like and they are usually good choices.

But, when we're not going "out" we'll spend 3/4 hours a night watching TV, which is something I've never done before.

If we lived together I'd get get on with doing my own thing, while he watched TV, but when he's come round (or vice versa) that doesn't seem right, and it is nice to curl up and watch TV, just not quite so much if it!

But I'm all out of ideas of what we should do instead.

Could you knit, crochet or cross stitch while you watch? I do this when have to sit through DH or DC choice of viewing that I’m only half interested in. It’s nice to sit together and keeps me fully entertained.
