What happened with the MIL who was suspected of stealing OP's childhood Christmas decorations?

I believe she got them back. Smuggled them out in her tights if I remember correctly!

Yes I remember that bit, I was just curious as to whether the MIL noticed they were missing

She probably did, but daren't say anything as she knows she lifted them in the first place!
