Arriva Bus App Live Tracking

I've got the arriva Bus App
Because someone said you could live track the bus and actually see where the bus is before it came
This was when we were at the bus stop and she showed me
But when I used there's nothing to show where the bus is that we're waiting for. It says 2 mins late if it's late but no live tracking?!
I'm confused
Does everyone else have live tracking and how do you get it?

I tried the First Bus live tracker a few weeks ago and it was rubbish, showed buses coming up the road that I could see perfectly well with my actual eyes were not there, and showed the bus I was waiting for apparently heading in the opposite direction only for it to show up five minutes later (yes that could have been the same bus number going the other way but if it was, then there was no sign of my actual bus anywhere on the tracker).

Much better than the companies apps., at least with Arriva.
