Just looking for reassurance as I’m maybe being paranoid. I have a braun age precision digital stick thermometer. Took DC’s temp and it was 38.1 and started beeping, but I kept the thermometer in and the reading went up to over 39 then switched off.
do I use the 38.1 reading when it started beeping, or the higher reading?
the instructions say that the thermometer will start beeping when an accurate temperature measurement has been taken, so I’m assuming I use the reading from when it started beeping, but the instructions don’t say anything about the readings continuing to rise?
