We’re planning to head over to Bayswater to get DD some skates next week. Despite living in London for a long time I never spent much time in the west. Anything recommendations for 2 early teen girls? Is Portobello Rod worth a stroll during the week?

Friday or Saturday market is better. Lots of nice cafes and Holland Park not far away.

I used to spend a lot of time in Bayswater after rolling skating in Hyde Park! Great memories.

Yes worth a look, will be less manic mid-week too.

Portobello road yes but the streets off it are interesting too - to look at the big houses!

Lots of good cafes etc too.

Id probably plan a walking route so you aren’t just aimlessly milling around!
