New Omaze Cotswolds House

Does anyone know where the new Omaze Cotswolds House is? I quite like the look of this one, although it's quite small for £4m, which makes me think it's in a more expensive area?

The location information is confusing... The blurb says it is 6 miles west of Cirencester, but then it talks about walking to Coln St Aldwyn, which is easy of Cirencester.

I hate the loo off the family room, and the main garden faces North … but I wouldn’t turn it down

@damemaggiescurledupperlip I would have to reconfigure the downstairs loo so that the door was on the short side - and move the doors to the garden room so that there was a bit of a sound barrier between the loo and that room. We would probably use that room as the formal dining room.

It's a bit odd that the only way into the study is through the garden room, so I would probably put a door through from the living room.

I was thinking the same thing about the loo door and having doors across the entry!

The Glebe House, Sapperton GL7 6LE

SamphiretheTervosaur · 13/02/2026 08:22

Ah! I thought it may have been in Duntisbourne, I've been in one there that been similarly IKEAd inside

But Sapperton makes more sense

MonsteraDeliciosa · 13/02/2026 08:25

Ah, I prefer the northern part of the Cotswolds, but I guess I could adjust when I win this house.

mbonfield · 13/02/2026 08:38

All these houses are wonderful but how many people actually live in the one's they have won and are still there to this day!
I can think of one that the winner handed back the keys before he stepped foot in it at Coombe Martin North Devon as it was a liability close to a cliff.

A media outlet did a story in October 2024 and of the Omaze houses where they could find the outcome, the majority had been sold by the winners.

I'm surprised they got permission to change it around to that extent

JaneVtwaddle · 13/02/2026 21:05

@Marathon28 wow !! That's incredible that looks so much smaller ??

DilemmaDelilah · 14/02/2026 07:42

I've done a bit of research into what it was like before, and it's really different! I have seen the planning application and it really needed quite a lot of work.

I think it's in Sapperton. Next to the Bell pub.
