Baby carrier recommendations

Can anyone recommend a baby carrier that doesn’t sit on the hips? I have a kidney catheter that is attached just in my waist, where all carriers sit! I’ve tried a najell carrier but my baby doesn’t like the wrap style, he can’t get his head in the right position and isn’t strong enough to hold it up yet.

Do you mean a back pack carrier like Little Life?
Because that one I really did find hurt my hips and I don't have a kidney catheter!

I have used fabric slings, ring slings, Baby Bjorn and Connecta carrier. I don't recall any of these sitting on my hips (although I'm tall and have a longer trunk maybe?)

My favourite was the Connecta which goes from 6m-2yrs I think, front and back carry once they're old enough. Really sturdy and you can use a lid type thing if it's rainy/sunny. Used to use daily to walk dogs. Folds up small enough to put in a bag.

Baby bjorn only goes on your front but facing in or out.
Only used this up to 5-6m

Good luck
