I am moving house. Present house has fitted wardrobes which are dated but I love the storage and neatness
Hoping to get some in my new house so just after recommendations. I expect there will be local firms but wondered if anyone had a national company recommendation and cost

Pax by IKEA gets good reviews and supposedly easy to create that built in look at a great price.

Haven't done it myself yet but I'm planning for our master bedroom.

Could the existing ones just have new doors put on?

Its a new house i want them in, no wardrobes fitted there
I did wonder about IKEA. My doubt is the quality. I've had ikea furniture before and the outers were solid but poor drawer bases that were forever coming out or dipping in the middle
The wardrobes in my current house are a bit dated but very solid

I can only speak from personal experience, but I have a fitted wardrobe from The Heritage Wardrobe Company and I've been happy with it. Definitely one to consider.

Online Bedroom Company is good.

However I'd also say that ikea pax wardrobes are very decent quality - we've had ours around 10 years and moved them twice in that time and they are still as solid as when we got them. (Unless of course, materials have changed since then which is entirely possible 🙈).
