think they know better about x, etc yet when there idea goes wrong, they usually blame everyone else etc rather than admit they made an error ?

Don't you just mean people? What does being a manager have to do with it?

Unfortunately, scum naturally rises to the surface ...

because in this case its a manager that wanted to do x project was sure it would be a sucess even when team leaders said it would not be, yet manager being manager went and did it, then when the obvious project didnt suceed as they thought it would, they then tried to say it was team leaders who said it would be sucessful etc

Yeah but that's just people @TheMerryJoker

Some people are dicks and looking out for their own self interests. They will lay blame at the door of others to avoid looking bad themselves. Some of these people end up with managerial roles. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Don't sweat it.

Had a manager several years ago that taught me a very valuable lesson…. Aka the annoying person that puts everything in writing (at the time it was mainly email for communication, Teams etc was but a distant dream) they screwed me over by completely denying several conversations we’d had about a project, totally threw me under the bus, I had no proof that they’d agreed to & been responsible for sections of the project as nothing was in black & white.
