Thornton park gruffalo trail?

Anyone been? Wondering what it’s like midweek ie is it safe for me and dc to go in the week? I don’t like going for walks if too desolate for safety reasons! Some of my local walks I won’t touch midweek as too quiet, but are busy on weekend

I certainly wouldn't describe it as desolate. There always seem to be people around the park in general, out for a stroll or with dogs or bikes etc, and it feels safe though I haven't visited personally for a couple of years.
