Self employed/Commission Only So Called ‘Jobs’

Why are there so many commission only ‘self employed’ jobs on job sites now? It’s ridiculous!

I work in sales, and often browse at other jobs and literally every sales job I see advertised on certain job sites at the moment is commission only, working on a self employed basis, yet the ads also state that the ‘self employed person’ needs to work 8-6 Monday to Friday, plus a host of other demands too, and probably no end of hoops that people need to jump through to earn any commission (if they ever even actually intend to pay any!)

It’s just so fucking cheeky! All these chancers thinking that they’re so clever basically getting people to work for them for free.

Well if people are gullible and dim-witted enough to take those jobs without checking the huge amount of information on the HMRC website about the legalities and responsibilities of self-employment, more fool them.

A friend had her UC meeting recently and was told she has to apply for jobs like these so clearly the government think it’s ok
