Missing parcel at post office …what can I do ?

I had a Royal Mail parcel delivered to my local post office (big city centre branch )
It was delivered on Saturday and tracking it shows the GPS location as the post office.
Went in today and the said it’s not there and not on the system .
So I’m confused if GPS shows it’s there
How can it not be?
Rang Royal Mail who have said it’s delivered to the post office.

Any ideas what I do next ?

Was it a parcel from a retailer? If so they should be your first point of contact, and can initiate a lost parcel claim with RM from their end. Separately, they should also arrange for a replacement or reimbursement to you.

Yes it’s from Zara …

Have you actually tried contacting Zara then?

Just a quick google search produced this:

So I’d follow that procedure.

I had this recently with a parcel delivered to my local PO by Evri. The PO were adamant it wasnt there but after I persisted they went to check the Evri drop off bag and it was there at the bottom. They had missed it, it wasn't a small package either. I would persist at the PO branch it was delivered to and get an actual person to check and check again, not just the computer.
