I’ve got a new (about 6-9 months old) iPhone charger from the Apple Store and it appears not to be working now. Or not as it should.

Should it be covered under warranty or should I just accept I need a new one and they’re only designed to last so long?

It's true that they're designed to only last so long - or, more accurately, they're not designed to last a long time. But I would expect it to last longer than that unless it's been treated particularly poorly. I'd take it back to the store and ask for a replacement.

I think I will do this. I don’t have the receipt though. It’s been used perfectly normally.
