I have chicken breast…I have fresh tagliatelle. I have store cupboard ingredients.
What’s the most delicious meal I could possibly make, please? Need inspiration! Thank you!

Always popular

chop up the chicken and fry in a little butter and herbs then cover with chicken stock and pop in oven for an hour

meanwhile fry (in the same pan you fried the chicken) some mushrooms and tomatoes (if you like them)

when chicken cooked remove chicken and stir some cornflour and double cream into the stock once thickened add chicken and veg then serve over the tagliatelle

Slice the breasts into strips and fry (use oikbfrom the sun dried toms)
Add a glass of dry white
Salt, pepper
Add sundried toms, sliced
Add 2/3 tbs of creme fraiche
Simmer for 5-10 mins
Add tbs parmesan
Add handful of torn basil

Drain tagliatelle and stir into chicken.
Serve with a green salad and more parmesan

These all sound delicious! I’ve heard of Marry Me Chicken but never really knew what it was!

Chicken Arabiatta (some online recipes demand basil which you may not have but I’m happy to have it without)

I vote for Alfredo if you want tasty and comforting, or Nigella's quick version of cacciatore if tasty and hearty.

I vote for marry me chicken. Waitrose own brand jarred sundried tomatoes are pretty good. Once I ruined it by using tomatoes that were like tasteless leathery sponge, from M&S if I recall correctly. Or use sunblush/roasted instead.

Thanks all! I had to improvise a bit in the end but this is what I did and it was DELICIOUS: chicken pieces, onion, garlic, chilli flakes, sun-dried tomatoes, cream (a lot!), mushrooms, mozzarella and a chicken stock cube. All mixed with the tagliatelle. So basically mostly like Marry Me Chicken.
