Shape wear

This should maybe be in S&B but I don’t fit in over there!!

Anyway we go away on Saturday (beach holiday) and nothing fits me so I’m panicking, I had a hysterectomy last September and since then I’ve gone into full blown peri menopause and put on 2.5 stone. Most of my clothes fit ok everywhere except around my stomach which is bloated and uncomfortable.

So I was thinking just for the evenings maybe some shape wear under my clothes would work? I don’t have much time to mess around with different types though so wondering if someone could recommend something that actually works?

Thanks!

I have recently bought some from Shapermint and have found it surprisingly comfortable.

Oh thanks I’ll have a look, haven’t heard of them.

I’m not really a primark person but I do buy my shape underwear there, based on a recommendation from a colleague and it’s fabulous!

I kept getting ads from them on my Facebook feed then someone else mentioned them on one of the S & B threads on MN and another poster recommended them so I gave them a try and am pleased I did.

I prefer these to shapermint and they’re much cheaper. Totally comfortable, I wear them everyday
