Something like baked beans?

Apart from spaghetti hoops, baked beans, or spaghetti, can (no pun intended) you think of anything that's convenient to add from a can to a meal? I'd go with sweetcorn, but DH doesn't like it (unless with tuna, apparently). Most of the time I do proper fresh veg cooking, but sometimes it's so much easier to just open a can of beans - but I'd like to find an alternative. What haven't I thought of?

Frozen peas? They’re just as easy as a can of beans.

I was going to say frozen mixed veg, frozen green beans, frozen peas....so easy, fast, colourful and fresh.

Tinned veg chilli, tinned broad beans -

or try an Asian supermarket, they usually have a huge range of tinned vegetables.

The pouches of lentils/other pulses and couscous are quite good
