What the actual ! I was in a lift last year when the door shut there was a picture of his dads crotch in his pants i really didn't need that in my face.

I deleted X after I got fed up with all the nasty hateful misogynistic and racist posts on there. It used to be fun and informative before and then just got mean.

I have now deleted most social media apps off my phone. Partly because my phone storage was full, and I am holding off buying a new phone (mine would be perfectly fine except for the storage issue). But also to stop me immediately looking at social media when I am bored. Now I have to actually go to the website - and just that action makes me think ‘do I really want to look at this?’ rather than a simple click on an app.

Even Pinterest, which I used to enjoy for getting ideas about home decoration / clothes / art, is now so full of AI images it’s just not worth it. Everything on there looks so samey.

I am making an effort to read more books, read a newspaper at the weekend, go to the cinema, do baking with DD, go for walks, and am trying to limit social media to a short bit of mindless scrolling when I get in from work, then turn it off.

Also looking at phones while watching tv - also a bad habit that I am deliberately trying to stop.
