Trainer liners that stay up

I prefer trainer liners to ankle socks for both gym classes and wearing trainers out and about / on holiday. I’ve never had a problem with the socks staying on my feet but those I’ve bought over the last year or so from places like Decathlon and other sports shops just don’t stay up and wrinkle under my foot.
i was wondering if their sizing has changed - I’m a 6 so the lower end of 6-8 but i am assuming. 3-5 will be too small.
I saw some in M&S but put off buying til o could ask around. As I said earlier I have never had a problem in all the years (actually decades) I’ve been buying trainer liners from the same places I now have problems with.
Any advice? Happy to hear from anyone but especially other people at the lower end of sizing bands who have encountered the problem and overcome it.
Thanks

Tesco and peacocks both have the ones with the extra elasticy bit round the arch and top of foot. Tesco ones wash better imo.

Primark do
some that stay on well for me- I use the opposite I’m an 8 so they slip off.

they are the ones that come in a set of pastel colours no designs or anything just so pattern within the stitching if that makes sense.
