I have buyers remorse before even trying it out - please talk me down 🤣

I’ve bought a fan.
It cost more money than I’d consider sensible for a fan.
It arrived yesterday and I keep avoiding getting it out of the packaging and haven’t even opened it yet, I feel a bit sick at the cost of it and can’t quite go through with accepting that I made the purchase.
I need a new one, and it makes sense for me to invest in one because it’s something I use year round, and I’m hoping that it’ll last longer than the ones I usual spend 30-50 pounds on.

can you share your experience of ‘ah shit, I bought that’ with me to make me feel better please!

Send it back and buy a cheaper one?

Google Vimes Boots - the theory that it's more expensive to frequently replace cheap things than it is to buy something expensive that lasts.

I’m a firm believer of buy cheap buy twice. If you can afford it.
