Go on a fire warden course at work, if you work?

It's covered in my annual mandatory training we have- including what the different extinguishes are for and how to hold each one. Don't touch the trumpet thing otherwise your hand will freeze to it is one thing I recall! 😬

If its not covered in your work, have you looked for youtube videos?

Yep, work sent me on mine.

  1. Buy a mini fire extinguisher from B&Q
  2. Let it off in a corner of the car park
  3. Sorted

Back in the day before H&S training was subject to risk assessments and all went online anyway, we used to have someone take us out into the work car park with a tray of something flammable which would be set alight so we could put it out. Hours of fun
