If Next kid's clothes say 7, is that 6-7 or 7-8? Please help a tired mum!

I did used to know this and I can't remember. Google isn't helping me.

I think it depends on how big your kids are. I think 7 is age 7, so if your child is 7 and of average build, that’s the size for them. If above or below average, you go up or down. My two are about bang on 50th centile but slender and I’ve tended to find Next runs a bit big. So I’d often buy 7 for my 8 year old. Totally depends on your dc though.

So it will mean up to 7.

I find next runs quite large in waistbands so I'd say that was 7-8

Look at the cms, 122cm is Next age 7 which is 6-7 in most places.

I’m at the 4-5 / 5 age range in the stuff I buy from next, but when it’s size 5, that means size 4-5.

Have a look at the measurements for a size 7 and compare that to 6-7.
