I’m sworn to secrecy by my dd, but she’s told us this week that she’s 8 weeks pregnant! She’s 22, been with boyfriend for a few years, and they’d already bought a flat that they move into next week before they found out. shes quite young but has been working ft for a few years (she’s a qualified masseuse and beauty therapist) and I’d say ready for this. I’m delighted though a bit spooked at going to be Gran! Dh is even more spooked but coping with it!!
So I’m just telling you lot as I couldn’t hold it in but can’t even talk to my dad or best friend until I get the nod from dd, which is likely to be after the 12 week scan. We didn’t tell anyone until then when we were expecting so can’t argue with her choice.
Anyway, just wanted to share. I kind of hope she does or doesn’t find Mumsnet!!
