I can't work out how to recycle blister packets.

Can anyone talk me through it please?

There’s a little toggle on the top right corner to switch between ‘beauty’ and ‘blister’.
Then it’s the same as the other products in that you take photos and wait for them to be approved, then you deposit 10 at a time and have to spend £5 on the same day to get the advantage points when you scan in the deposit barcode.

It’s a little confusing the first couple of times, I didn’t realise I had to wait for the barcode to be sent to me, or to appear on the recycle app…then once you press Redeem you only have 5 minutes to scan it alongside your Advantage card when you’re going through the checkout!

I gave up, it takes too long and the reward is not worth it.

I now just take the blister packs to my store and throw them into the bin.

@eyespartyparty

Thankyou. With your help I managed it!

@reluctantbrit

I was happy to just recycle them but then thought I must be able to work this out.

@eyespartyparty

The ones I've uploaded are pending so I'm half way through the process. Hopefully!

@reluctantbrit I came on here to say exactly this! I did initially download the app but decided it was too much of a faff that I did not need in my life, so deleted it and was glad to just put the blister packs in the box and not landfill.

Totally agree it is a faff! But on a day when I’m going to spend £10 in there anyway, I may as well do it then and get the points. And for the blister packs you only have to spend £5. I have a bag in the cupboard now so I just take a pic when something has run out and chuck it in the bag ready for the next time.

It's OK if the wifi or 4/5G in your Boots store works. It is hopeless in the one I go to most often, annoyingly. But there is another one which is OK.
