Is this a normal forehead size for a baby?

Sorry just not sure who else to ask! My nearly 5 month old has a bit of a big head - happiest baby ever, no issues at all in any way. Does this look ok to you? I just wouldn't want to waste a doctor's time because of worrying over nothing! Sorry if the sticker makes it a bit harder to see, just wanted his privacy bless him. Thank you

Nothing attached but I wouldn't worry about uploading for others to guess. Your best bet is to book with your health visitor (usually easier to get a hold of than your GP, maybe a drop in baby clinic if they do it in your area). They can measure head circumference along with weight/length and plot it on your baby's growth chart to see if there's anything that needs worrying about x

Thank you, you're totally right. I'll speak to my health visitor, to be honest I sort of forgot they're an option! Baby brain never stops haha, thanks 😊

Completely normal, do they even have a large head, circumference wise? I think all you are looking at is the typical baby hairline, which changes over time to be less "balding old man."

It’s the hairline which makes babies heads look sos tranche.

Mine all had a widows peak for the first year of their life too - grown out of now (luckily for them…!)

I literally just googled sos tranche because I thought it was a fancy French expression I’d never heard 😂
