What was your experience with side effects ...
1 - when using it?
2 - after stopping it?

Are you looking for answers on using it to delay your period or as contraception?

OnNaturesCourse · 01/02/2026 17:58

To see if my symptoms are in the range of normal. Used as a delay for nearly 2 weeks.

I’ve used it to delay my period a few times. It made me bloated when I was taking it and when I stopped my period was heavier than usual.

No symptoms when taking it, apart from very very mild cramping around the time I would have been due on.

Horrendously long and heavy period when I stopped.

I've used it twice to delay periods by a week or two when on holiday.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 01/02/2026 18:43

Had no problems using

the most horrendous period I’ve ever had when I stopped

OnNaturesCourse · 01/02/2026 18:50

Was the periods just heavier? Or was the usual period symptoms like headaches, cramps etc etc worse too? I usually have a mild headache and tiredness beforehand but feels worse this time round.

Everything was worse cramping, amount of blood, headache tiredness etc

OnNaturesCourse · 01/02/2026 18:57

Oh joy. Sorry you suffered that but I'm glad it's not just me. I've not started bleeding yet so have that to look forward to and the pre period symptoms are horrible.

Sorry I couldn’t give you any hope!

OnNaturesCourse · 02/02/2026 13:35

No, that's OK! I appreciate your honesty. I had a hellish night with only a few hours sleep as I was paranoid of bleeding through (kids end up in my bed a lot, rather not traumatise them!) heart racing, sweating, heavy bleeding for a few hours with clots etc. Took some Evana around 2am and that seemed to slow everything down thankfully. It just went from nothing to everything really quick. Feel better today but a bit washed out.
