Which London show?

I've seen lots of London theatre shows and I'm hoping to go to another when I go next week. For those that have seen Six, Devil Wears Prada and the Hunger Games which did you prefer?

I'm leaning towards Hunger Games but it's a bit further away from my hotel and my friend will be going in the opposite direction so I'll have to travel solo late at night. Six is tempting as I think it's shorter and pretty close to hotel.

I thought the staging and effects at Hunger Games were interesting but the acting was pretty weak. Six wasn’t my favourite either but know lots more who enjoyed it. Haven’t seen your other choice.

Six is the best of those 3 by the fair way.

I’ve seen all 3 - agree Six is best by far, followed by Devil Wears Prada. The only people I know who’ve really enjoyed hunger games are those who were huge fans of the movies/books.

Thank you

Six is the best.

I’ve only seen Six and I absolutely hated it. Thought it was a waste of time and money

Untailored · 01/02/2026 18:00

Six was boring, just six songs in a row, no staging or sets.

Throwing Book of Mormon into the ring

Book of Mormon is the best of those options

Six is dreadful

I really enjoyed Six but as others have said don't expect too much acting. If you are of an age where Paddington brings back lovely childhood memories then I can recommend Paddington we all really loved it and our group aged between 30 and 70.

Book of Mormon gets my vote!

Six is more for teens than adults on their own -IMO. It’s a 50 minute pop concert though the songs are good.
devil wears Prada is an alright show. (Though it’s a one and done for me show, same with legally blonde, clueless, mean girls)
Not heard anything about the hunger games.

I’ve just seen my neighbour totoro and that was an amazing show, I’m not a Japanese anime person, but the staging, the set, the puppetry were all wow!

BePoisedPlumUser · 01/02/2026 19:44

Another vote for Book of Mormon. Six was very expensive for what it was. A real waste of money. I really don’t get all the hype around it.

Lostsoultrip · 01/02/2026 21:02

Thanks all. We've gone for Book of Mormon.
