Please help me choose a layout for my living room.

Diagrams included below. I have a dilemma. Our kitchen gets very cold in the winter months so we often like to eat in the the living room. I have a smallish dining table and two chairs I can move into our living room but I’m not sure where to place it. Our tv is fixed by a bracket to the wall and woukd be tricky to move so I would prefer to leave that where it is. I’ve come up with some alternate layouts. Please can you let me know which one you would choose if this was your room? I’ve numbered each option, and I’ve also added the current layout. Thank you.

Image 3 is the current layout with no dining table by the way.

I like layout 2 the best as it feels like it gives a separate dining zone.

The litter tray nestled between the sofas in number 3 makes me feel a bit queasy 🤢

I like 2 best but it depends on the space. Could you try it and see how it works for you?

I prefer two so that there are clearly delineated areas. But I would return the cat tree to its original position (I mean how very dare you anyway?!) and put the other side table between the two sofas. Not sure where the litter tray went in image two - but surely you don't keep a litter tray in your living room?

I’d pick option 2, the sofa position looks better for the tv, and you have a bit of separation between the dining and sitting areas.

Definitely no 2 as it creates a separate dining area.

Thanks all, I will give it ago and see what it looks like. I agree re the litter tray. It’s needs to move. It’s a covered one but would be better elsewhere.
