Two boys, aged 15 and 16, have assisted a group of unprepared idiots walkers who got themselves stranded on Helvellyn. The boys were well equipped and clearly knew what they were doing. Not duffers, these two.

Just shows what teenagers are capable of if given the opportunity. Then you see threads where posters don't want to let similarly aged young people travel alone on a train.

Yes, most of them are great, and do amazing things. Saw some pull a fallen tree off a road (traffic was blocked both ways). I'm happy to see lots of positive messages for my daughter, but I wish there were more positive messages for boys like my son.
