Anyone have any of these and can confirm the markings on them? They seem different to what I've previously had and wanted to check they are genuine before taking. Thanks

Where did you get them from?

PebblePlush · 29/01/2026 21:13

Pharmacy but they are a different brand from last time and don't look the same also cannot identify them online so worrying they are not genuine. I'll pop in and speak to pharmacist tomorrow.

If you got them from an actual pharmacy and they were prescribed to you then I’m sure they’re fine.

Yeah was thinking the same but bit dubious as cannot identify them online at all. Thanks for replying though.

I’ve taken some medication for years and I’m sure I never get the same brand twice.

@PebblePlush

According to the official Crescent Pharma product information, the tablet is described as follows:

  • Shape & Colour: Circular, white, flat-faced tablet with bevelled edges.
  • Front Marking: Embossed with D/2 on one face.
  • Reverse Marking: Embossed with CP (standing for Crescent Pharma) on the other face.

Thanks yes seen this too and it's not what is marked on the tablets I have hence my caution in taking any. Wonder if it's possible for the wrong pills to be packed. Will be going to double check tomorrow.

What are the markings @PebblePlush?

If they've come from an authorised pharmacy it seems unlikely they'd be fake or in wrong packaging tbh

PebblePlush · 29/01/2026 21:53

Thanks Freya would like to think so. I didn't want to say what the markings are was hoping someone might have same and confirm. I'll update tomorrow once I've spoken to a pharmacist.

If you put the markings in online, it will tell you what the tablets are

PebblePlush · 29/01/2026 22:22

Have done that doesn't come up with what these are.

Thanks doesn't appear here either. All a bit strange unless they're really new and not on any checkable sites yet.

Is the prescription made out for "Crescent Pharma Diazepam 2mg"? It would be highly unusual, I'd expect it to be just for "diazepam 2mg", and the pharmacy up dispense it with any brand they have on the shelf.

Does the box have any non-English writing on it? Could it be a parallel import? Perfectly legal, pretty common, and means the pills may look different for another country.

Freya1542 · 29/01/2026 23:34

does it have a 2 on it @PebblePlush?
