Saw today that Mermaids starring Cher, Winona Ryder and Christina Ricci is on Netflix. I loved the film when I was a teenager and remember me and my friends lusting after Joe the caretaker. Sat down to watch it and realised that Winona Ryders character is 15 and Joe is 26!!! Very unsettling how she is encouraged to pursue him.
Does anyone else remember the film? Or feel free to mention any other oldies that have aged badly.
