I recently bought some new shoes online and they were too big. I packed them up, returned them (un-used) and then discovered the retailer had deducted the outgoing postage costs from the refund (I paid the return postage and expected that). It’s only £3.99 but because it’s against consumer law, it’s annoying me. Their Customer service basically said ‘that’s our policy, so no, you’re not having your money back’ so I’m now drafting my TrustPilot review and contemplating a chargeback for the 3.99. It’s amazing how a minor injustice has taken up so much room in my head. I even heard myself saying to someone earlier, ‘IT’S THE PRINCIPLE OF THE THING’. 😂😂
What petty things really annoy you?
