Am I the only person who thinks sitting a recording yourself crying is unhinged!

I think mainly celebrities do this to tell us things going on in their life… for example I’ve just seen on the news some made in Chelsea or only way is Essex ( probably got that wrong because I wasn’t paying to much attention as I don’t watch that kind of tv) has posted about some infertility problems, but she is sat crying recording herself…..

Did she think hang on a minute I’m about to cry better start recording myself?

If something is that upsetting why would you record yourself in the first place?

These people are trying to show awareness to these things which is great but it feels like it’s a bit of self entitlement!

Yep it’s absolutely wild that people do this. Mental.

Attention seeking

Because you get to a point where all you think about is content.

I had a large social media following until about 7 years ago.

It ends up consuming you. You start to think in “posts”. Your internal monologue becomes captions for the next post.

My sister in law has a huge following over 500k and it definitely consumes her.

Honestly though… why would someone sit and cry on a video? It’s more the way some people sit and just cry for a bit and not say anything. 🫣🤯😂🤷🏼‍♀️

Yeah, I never did that.

That’s fucking tragic.

It’s not something I would ever do but giving them the benefit of the doubt, they’re talking about the subject which is making them upset and the natural reaction is to cry. Maybe they can’t talk about it without crying but they want to raise awareness? Maybe they know this is the content that gets the highest views so it’s going to spread their message far and wide? I dunno or maybe they’re just attention seeking..
