I will call them to ask but thought maybe someone here may know

Is there a facility to notify me of money going out / in as it cant see where it is in the settings etc

My partner is with another bank and and he gets them.

Only thing i got was last night when I made a payment to a new person which i am sure it was due to being new person added for transfer which they confirmed after by text.

How can they notify of money going in? It’s mostly same day payments. Going out can be under pending or it’s just gone already and you status will show that?

I’m with NatWest and I get alerts via my iPhone when money goes in and I use my card, have you tried looking in your phone settings for notifications possibly rather than the actual banking app

I’m with Nationwide and get messages. I think they’re from Apple Pay though .

I'd love to know the answer to this.
I recently swapped and this is the only downside of the bank. I was with Lloyd's and they're app/notifications are excellent. I also have a chase account who notify you within seconds.
Santander you get notifications but several days late. Thats worse than none at all.

I get weekly texts set up for all activity. Also another one today if my balance goes below a certain level.

I have alerts set for if money goes below a set amount.

Yes if I go in it can see pending etc but like people have said you can get near instant notifactions if money goes out or if someone sends you money.

I will look at my android settings or / and call them.

I'm with N/wide and get a text if I make a payment to a new payee. Otherwise nothing. However I use the banking app so regularly review what is going in and out so no real need for other notifications.

You can't get app notifications for all transactions with Nationwide, unfortunately. I like to get them, so I'm looking to switch away soon.

Well I with Nationwide and I certainly don’t get an alert every time money goes in or out! My phone would be going non stop! I don’t understand why anyone would want that? I have online banking so can check anytime I want to, but alerting me to each transaction is crazy!

I have a nationwide current account. On the app it has a money in/out option when click on the bank account details??

I will have a look thanks to see if that's what i mean.
