What do you use the understairs area for? Ours is split into 2 cupboards. One you can almost walk into- its wasted space at the moment but wondering if I should put shelves in? Turn into a pantry? Use if for shoes? Coats? We have a rack at the door at moment and shoes in porch (due to dog!!)

Dryer with shelves above for towels, toiletries and ramdon shit i don't know what to do with

Tumble dryer, hoover, mop, bucket, clothes airer, iron and ironing board.
I actually had the door of ours moved so its a full height door now.

Yes that's a good idea- hover, mop, airer etc then shelves above sounds good!

We had a cupboard and drawers fitted by a company called Clever Closet. Amazing idea and very handy. The cupboars is big enough for a hoover and has some wire basket shelves screwed to the wall to store cleaning bits and general odds and sods.

The door to mine is at the end, so it starts as full height and the ceiling falls away as you look into it.

I've got some things I rarely use stored at the back.
A rail across the front of the space with hangers for coats.
Shoes on the floor, we are going to make a shoe rack so it will be double height instead of just using the floor level.
Ironing board.
Cordless vacuum on it's charger point.
Steam mop.
Hooks on the inside of the door with more coats, plus a plastic ikea shoe drop-open thing on the inside of the door with hats, scarfs & gloves in.

@Chasingsquirrels that sounds like a great idea! I need to get moving and do something with the space.
