Dd and her bf are over from a big European city where they live. Of course its the worst weather ever, dark, wet, cold, horrible. They came on friday, out for meal and drinks Saturday, big Sunday dinner, played switch quiz games two nights. Today, its not even fit to go out. They had a quick chazza mooch. The roads aren't safe to drive on, so no.going to local towns or the cinema or anywhere. We live in a small country town in the north, no local trains. How to entertain until Saturday?

The weather isn't that bad all week. Unless you're totally remote and cut off.

Blowy seaside walk?
Cathedral in the nearest city?
Museums locally or a drive away?
Bowling?
Escape rooms ?

All need to drive. We've standing water on the roads. Museums locally done to death, as are cathedrals. No bowling/escape rooms within 70 miles. Beaches are fine if is not pissing it down.

It's nightmarish here on the east coast of Scotland. I wouldn't be going anywhere near the beach! I think it is to be nicer tomorrow though. Try and make the most of it!
