Free time in the evening

Hi. I always wonder if I don't manage my time well. I'm a single mum to 3 children and teach full-time (I'm usually in school 8-5) I take my youngest son to a swimming lesson once a week and my middle son to football training once a week.

I feel like after cooking dinner, tidying the house, homework washing etc I have very little time free to just relax in the evening. I'm just wondering how much free time other working parents get in the evening? Bu the time my children are in bed I usually get into bed myself, read to unwind then sleep. I'm wondering if I need to push past the tiredness to actually be able to watch some TV, exercise etc.

I think if you are teaching full time, you are doing well just to survive, even before you take into account parenting 3 small people. then even more so doing all that on your own.
You need a medal, not to self criticise.

There would be nothing wrong with choosing a TV night, over a reading night one day a week, but I watched very little TV for 15 years of so when my dc were small and I was teaching, and I shared the load with dh.
