Has anyone tried the new ad-free FB/Insta subscription

I really hate the idea of giving money to Meta, but I cannot use Insta or FB any more as the ads drive me insane. I thought I might try it for a month but thought I'd see if anyone else has first and if so it it really does what it says on the tin?

Joining the thread as I have the same question. The ads are horrendous and I am considering paying but loathe the idea of financially supporting these aresewipes.

I just closed all of my accounts.

Could you not just use an adblocker instead?

Yes I handed over my cash in the new year.

I still get suggestions for groups etc, but they are not random. Not getting 1000 million suggestions for Temu, Temu UK, Temu Lithunia, Temu Timbuktoo etc makes it worthwhile. It pains me, but I'll probably keep it going

Does an Adblocker work on fb? I always find it a PITA on other things so don't have one but maybe I should try again.

So do you see your friends' posts again on FB, I largely see shite and miss out on so much!
