Window cleaner and patio door ledges

Hello!
Would you expect the window cleaner to clean the door ledges?

Ours doesn't. He has literally just left and it looks like this.

He does the window sills/ledges whatever they're called but not the patio door ones.

I would consider that to be part of the window cleaning service, for sure. Do you have a contract? If so, this should state what is covered in the cleaning.

Mine doesn’t. Because they’re not windows. They’re frames.

Ours does window sills and the patio door sill. We pay a bit extra for him to do the garage door.

I don't see the point in paying someone to do part of the job. What's the point in paying someone to clean the glass if you have to clean the frames, ledges etc yourself?

This annoys me too, ours just does the glass, but doesn’t wipe down the frames or sills. Ridiculous.

My old window cleaner used to wash the glass and wipe the frames in my old house. He used a bucket of soapy water squeegee and a spammy leather and climbed up a ladder. The glass sparkled .
My new window cleaner uses a pole water thing and he does everything even the bottom of my doors. He only visits every 8 weeks in the winter. My old one used to do them once a month

We pay extra for that
