Is anyone else struggling with unemployment like I am? I was made redundant from my 11-year role in the NHS due to restructuring last November, and despite my efforts, I haven't been able to land another job. I've applied for various positions - temp, permanent, contract roles - reached out to countless agencies with my CV, but to no avail. I'm even considering cleaning as a potential option next (no disrespect to cleaners, just my current situation). I've been shortlisted and interviewed multiple times, yet securing a job seems impossible. Anyone else facing similar challenges or has any advice to share on navigating through this tough job market?

Yes, me. Made redundant from NHS role in 2024 and am struggling to find a new role. I'm stuck and at 53 don't know what I can do next. I'm really beginning to struggle financially. I'm very well qualified and have tonnes of experience in different sectors under my belt but it's not counting for much. I'm considering maybe warehouse or delivery work to keep the wolf from the door.
