Anyone else driven mad by people who constantly snort, cough, clear throat, lip smack?!

Oh my gosh, I thought a change of scene would help me get a few dull tasks ticked off. Almost empty café, a few people chatting etc perfect but then a guy sat down on the table behind me and just hasn't stopped making gross noises: slurping his food, coughing, sighing, snorting, letting out breathy "aaaah" noises. It makes me want to bite someone. I know I'm oversensitive to this stuff but tell me I'm not alone!!!

I once said how much I hate people who sniff on here and got a sound telling off from someone who told me they can't help it.

Just buy tissues. Please.

I use mine a lot to just block sound, not
listen to music necessarily.
They are very effective even without music - and you could always play white noise or whatever through them for extra blocking! I sometimes play the background sounds that my iPhone comes with.

None of the Loop type ear plugs come anywhere close for me. They don’t seem to do much, but maybe that’s just me.

@RainySundayAfternoon thanks, maybe that’s what I need to do. He’s a nice enough guy and a very proficient player but it drives me insane! Especially in summer when he plays with his patio doors open so everyone can ‘enjoy’ it……
