There is an inquest court date soon for a family member. If you have been through an inquest, how long do you get to review the documents in advance? Is there a deadline by which they have to be received?

We received our documents and statements in May ready for the inquest the next January

Thanks. Our court date is only about six weeks from death, so is maybe more of a formality/tickbox…but…I have questions which I’m hoping documents can answer (I’ve requested medical notes too, but am unlikely to receive them in time).

Ten weeks, not six.

I received documents on Friday - just two clinician’s statements. Inquest is next week. Coroner didn’t request hospital records.
