Tell me about Hims

Youngest son has just told me that he’s taking some sort of drugs/supplements from HIMS to stop hair loss. He’s mid 20’s. Most of the males in my family have male pattern baldness, so baldness just seems part of the course and there isn’t a lot you can do about it.
Is it a legitimate company or is it just another social media rip off? More importantly, is it safe? He’s a bit cagey about it. I’ve voiced my concerns but need to find out more.

I've seen ads for Hims and Hers. Seems like another company selling supplements that he can get cheaper from Amazon. Also, all these things need YEARS to show any progress, especially with hair growth. I would encourage him to do his own quick Google search for hair growth supplements and buy them off Amazon.

Thanks for that. I’m very sceptical about it, but his hair loss is affecting his confidence, so I want to be supportive if it will help. Unfortunately, I don’t think it will.

As far as I understand it contains finasteride which is used clinically to prevent male patter baldness. However, I'd be more inclined to purchase it from boots online prescription service (of not GP!)

There are ways to stop hair loss and prevent it, and help with regrowth as well!

If all else fails, he can always do what all my guys friends did in their 30s and get a hair transplant😆
