Regain trust in the company?

Lots of things - some little some bigger- have made me feel very disillusioned with my company. Not a toxic workplace but not totally healthy either.

Examples: no one understands the appraisal and promotion mechanism. I was turned down which is annoying but that isn’t the problem it is that I jumped through the hoops I was told last year but have been told completely different things this year.

my line manager is utterly shit! Simple tasks anyone in the team could do he fucks up repeatedly which impacts on everyone else.

Hours have crept up and up with deadlines pilled up on top of each other with no thought given by SLT for the impact.

key dates changed with little to no notice

There are lots of positives don’t get me wrong. I am having a morn so only mentioning why I have become dissatisfied.

So back to my question, is it possible to return to liking an employer once they have become disillusioned?

Just seen a job advertised that is so tempting.

Major cons are the commute - 40minutes to an hour each day depending on traffic, compared to 10 minutes currently. That and the unknown. Better the devil you know and all that jazz.
