Youngest daughter, aged 8, has had a new teacher since returning to school after new year. She has been talking about her a lot since then and obviously likes her.
This evening I asked if she still liked Mrs Newteacher, her reply was 'she is my favourite person in the world'. Thanks for that, guess who isn't getting any more pocket money 😂

Haha bless her. Nice to hear some teacher praise. One she will always remember.
Might be her favourite but she loves you!

Good job, decent pay excellent pension plan. Your brother showed good early planning skills 😀

As a recently retired primary school teacher, this is music to my ears.
I loved my job and really took pride in all I did for my class. I was strict but fair and as a result I too had great respect and love from my pupils and their parents.

I still have all the thank you cards from my many years in teaching that I look at from time to time. Not to mention the many tributes I received when I retired.
So pleased that your daughter loves her teacher, I hope she has many hours of enjoyment from her education in the years to come.
