I am starting to use Ocado as lots of people said it’s has a good range of ultra processed free foods - can anyone give me any recommendations please

Carrots, a whole chicken, potatoes, lettuce? Fish fillets? Herbs, ginger, chilli?

Lamb chops, whole chicken, beef joint. These can all be served with potatoes, and veg, fresh, or frozen. What are you eating at the moment?

We eat well and at the moment and I try to cook from scratch but it’s expensive and lots of suggestions that Ocado had better variety than Tesco

I'm all for using Ocado, think they are definitely the best for online deliveries but.............all supermarkets are full of UPF foods, all natural whole foods that you cook from scratch are UPF🤷 you can see all ingredients listed online for every item so you can screen it from the comfort of your sofa👍

I would say Ocado has a good range of health conscious and special dietary choices in every section and they provide a very efficient delivery service with excellent customer service.

As others have said though, avoiding upf is mostly about selecting individual ingredients and combining them yourself so any supermarket stocks veg, pulses, flour etc.

I do think Ocado has the reputation of being a middle class retailer catering to a market which is more able to consider health and choice over convenience or needing to buy the very cheapest food.

That said, they offer a price promise and I always get a voucher if my shopping would have been cheaper at Tesco.

They sell food from M&S who have a new range:

We've had the sausages, which were nice and included in the multibuy deal so no more expensive than normal sausages.

I also like the Heinz range of pasta sauce, which don't have weird ingredients in, so hopefully count as non UPF

Get back to basics with our new, minimal-ingredients range. From crunchy breakfast cereals to fluffy rolls, we've focused on using store cupboard ingredients to create family favourites without sacrificing the delicious flavour you know and love.

RealFoods Kalamata olives

m&s olive oil hummus

Hu chocolate is highly recommended, but I don't personally enjoy the texture of the few I've tried

Cirio beans

Ocado have a lot more organic fruit & veg than the other main supermarkets, which is a big plus for me

Rocks orange squash no sweeteners all natural and 10/10 for taste.
Walkers shortbread wee shorties-great snacks. Plus the walkers shortbread in general 10/10 tastiness.
