Does anyone know how these bins open so you can empty them? Sorry for the boring question!

Does the lid not lift off if you pull up up by the hand-holds at the sides? Maybe try pulling out slightly.

Thank you for the reply. I have tried lifting it by the handles and rocking it but it won't lift off.

If you run your fingers around the inside edge of the lid are there any clips to open?

I will try and see.

It sounds strange but I need to know as it is a new part of my job I have been asked to do. Obviously the question will be can I ask a colleague but I don't work the same days as anyone else who would empty them and I don't have their details to ask. I don't want to have to tell my manager I can't open a bin so was hoping someone on here might know!

Don't be embarrassed about asking your manager. You are entitled to receive relevant training. All you have to say is that you haven't come across this type of bin before, and as it involves emptying nappies, it is the sort of question best asked asap! Good luck in your new job.
